We Have A Different View Of Fellowship At SHBC!

SHBC has a true "koinonia" type of fellowship.
"Koinonia" is a Greek word in the New Testament that means, "join participation" or "working together."

In most churches, when you mention the word fellowship, thoughts of coffee and donuts, a "covered dish" meal, or a small group at someone's home come to mind.   While all of these are part of the "body life" at SHBC, 60-70% of our members and regular attenders are involved in some role in our ministries at SHBC. At any one time, most of our folks are involved by leading, serving, or attending a "G.R.O.W.T.H. Study."

Yes, we also do the kinds of "fellowship" most are accustomed to.   So you will be able to feel right at home. However, we have found that real relationships come from doing things together - being an active part of God's family at SHBC.

We invite you to come and experience the "fellowship" by attending SHBC. Our church is "family sized" - just the right size to not get "lost" in the crowd, and still be welcomed with warm hearts and extended hands!
